Cindy Wang – Managing Director

Cindy Wang focuses on Woodside Capital Partners’ China related practice. She advised China-based companies on their US growth strategies, M&A assessment, due diligence, valuation, and financing proposals.

Cindy brings extensive investment banking experience. She was an investment banker at ThinkEquity Partners and previously at WR Hambrecht Co., both with a geographic focus of China. She successfully helped many Chinese companies to access US capital markets via public transactions and private transaction such as IPOs, Follow-Ons, M&As, and Private Placements. Cindy is always interested in helping companies to identity their key growth drivers and reach their financial and growth goals. She sees the growth potential in both traditional and technology sectors.

Cindy also had a progressive career track in hi-tech industry and brings extensive technology background and experience. Prior to her investment banking career, she worked at Oracle for ten years in various groups and capacities including M&A evaluation and strategies, technology team management, product development, and product management.

Cindy is a MBA graduate of Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. She also received a Master of Science in Computer Science from New Mexico State University and a BS in Computer Science from East China Normal University.

Cindy is very active in various organizations and well connected to the financial investment community. She is a board member of Haas Alumni Network San Francisco Chapter and an active organizer at Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA).
