Laurent Sandrolini - Managing Director

Laurent Sandrolini is a Managing Director at Woodside Capital Partners where he specializes in transactions for companies in the Enterprise Software sector. Laurent brings both operating and investment experience to his role. Laurent's background and experience provides special insight to most aspects of Enterprise Software from his prior roles in engineering, product management, services, corporate development, and venture investments.

Laurent's first foray in the investment industry was in 1999 when he led Oracle Corporation's $500MM Venture Fund. Under his leadership, the fund made successful early-stage investments in companies such as Red Hat, WebEx, 3Par, Savi, and Rhapsody Networks. Laurent also oversaw corporate development transactions such as joint ventures with Alcatel, and various strategic acquisitions.

In between his venture and corporate development roles, Laurent led operating teams for Oracle in engineering, product management, and services. Most recently, he led Oracle's product management team for Oracle SaaS offerings (On Demand).

Prior To Oracle, which he joined in 1990, Laurent held engineering positions at National Semiconductor, IBM European Headquarters (Paris), and AXA (Paris).
